224. Entering Magical Colorado {LC's Journey 28}

Grab your tea. I'm in Colorado. The second I. I mean, I can't explain it the second. I crossed the border from Wyoming and to Colorado. It was like the energy completely lifted. It was so expansive and open and joyful up lifted. I literally said out loud, what. What is this? Whoa. I drive south just a little bit. So I get to Fort Collins and then I drive up around Horsetooth reservoir. I'd come into my friends place. With a view. Of horse tooth reds are for. That's like not, no one has this. I go up to her. First of all, she is one of my best friends. My sisters, Sandy does Sandy. Hmm, love her. We had not seen each other or even talked. until I called her to see if I could come visit her when I was in Minnesota that year. And she said, well, I'm in Colorado. I said, that's even better. We hadn't spoken and so long, but it doesn't matter. It's that kind of friendship. We're never really separate. And I go up to her and I said, Sandy, this is this place isn't even real. Like, what is this? And that's all my whole week was in Colorado. Really. And it was pure magic. It was not real, but it was real. And I had the time of my life. I opened up in ways that I did not expect to open up. I experienced things. I had no idea that I would experience and I came. Out of Colorado. Uh, with a broken car. But a very wide open. Heart mind and spirit. I love Colorado. I thought I'd be living there. It felt like a party. But it turned out that Vermont felt like home.
