Baked cheddar and delicata squash recipe.
Sam from episodes 190-193 and 195 told me he made this. I had to try. So will you!

  1. Slice a delicata squash in half, lengthwise
  2. Slice some cheddar cheese
  3. Place the squash face up in a baking dish, top with cheese, and sprinkle with salt to taste (I use flaked sea salt. I imagine gray celtic sea salt would also be amazing)
  4. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until done (depends on the size of the squash, really. I think I baked mine for about 25-30 minutes
  5. ENJOY!
  6. Let me know how it nourishes your soul

"Everything is right the way it is right now," is a quote by Jared, who texted that to me one night.

One of the things I love most about podcasting is meeting people. I met Sam. You heard from him, we did some episodes and I think we're going to do more. He told me something that he made, that I had to simply turn around and make myself. I had to share it because I was like, what, where has this been? All my life. So all you do. As you take one of those little delicata squashes. You split it in half and get all the seeds. Slice up some cheddar cheese. I have. Three years aged. Cheddar cheese in my fridge from another friend of mine. Put the squash face up on a baking dish, put the cheddar cheese. On the squash. And then I also sprinkled some flake salt. And put that in the oven at 400 degrees until it's done. The cheese will be bubbly and brown. Um, I don't know how long I left it in there. Maybe like 25 to 30 minutes. You will thank me. Yeah, it's really good. Let me know how it is for you. Let me know how it nourishes your soul. Make sure you are fully present in your body when you eat it, because it will nurse you all the more when you are. And if you'd like to donate anything to the show or book yourself a session with me, if you're feeling like. Life is getting a little bit overwhelming. Sometimes a session is all you need. And we do this online. You can go to buy me a coffee.com/ 1 0, 0 ways to do either. And until next time I'm sending all the love. And then some more. We'll talk tomorrow
