174. Learning by Fire

You were told. You were warned. Your mom or dad or aunt or sister or brother or whoever. First told you. About it got scared when your hand was reaching up for it. You learned? That pot was hot. And you learned the fire is hot because you had touched it though. Betcha anything. Uh, betcha your curiosity. Outweighed any of the warnings you received? And you touched it and you verified oh, yep. Yep. Yep. That's hot Al burn. What happens when you touch a really hot thing? It burns. Well, what does burn mean? You don't know what burn means until you feel it. That's how we learn our lessons. Every time. I hear someone say I learned the hard way. I'm like, we all learn the hard way. We all learn. Lessons the hard way. That's how we learn. Uh, we experienced the hurt. And we have learned the lesson. This goes with relationships. This goes with. Selling our souls. This goes with wanting to be somewhere other than where we are. This really goes for everything. We learned by fire. We learned fire as hot because we touched it. Because we're curious and there's nothing wrong with a little bit of curiosity. So rather than beating ourselves up and thinking, we wasted our time learning a lesson. Be grateful.
